Troubleshooting

Find the next step when sign-in, saving, labels or website embeds are not behaving as expected.

I cannot sign in or open my workspace

  • Use the email address from your invitation and confirm your email if you just created the account.
  • Use Forgot your password? if you cannot remember the password. Check your spam folder for account emails.
  • For an expired invitation, ask for a replacement and use the latest link.
  • If you can sign in but cannot find a workspace, check that you accepted its invitation with the correct account.
  • If a workspace is suspended or access has been removed, contact the person who manages your Maphere service.

My changes will not save

Keep the studio tab open so you retain your unsaved changes. Check your connection and read the save error. If your session expired, sign in in another tab and retry. A viewer role cannot save changes.

For a newer-draft conflict, record the edits you need to keep and coordinate with your colleague. Reload only when you are ready to load the latest saved draft and reapply your edits. Maphere does not merge concurrent changes automatically.

The public map has not changed

  1. Check Share for Unpublished changes. Save alone does not update the public map.
  2. Ask an owner or admin to publish the latest draft.
  3. Reload the public viewer or the website containing the embed to load the published version.

If publishing reports unsupported place images, remove those place-image references before publishing or ask the person maintaining your map for help. Private reference images used for tracing can remain.

The website embed is blank or blocked

  1. Confirm that the map is published and Enable website embeds is selected in Share. Save any sharing changes.
  2. Check Allowed websites against the actual website address. HTTPS, subdomain and any explicit port must match. List www and non-www versions separately when both are used.
  3. Use the Embed code copied from Share, rather than placing the external viewer or studio URL in an iframe.
  4. If the live site works but the website builder’s preview does not, check whether its preview uses a different domain.
  5. Ask your website maintainer whether the site blocks external iframes or requires the Maphere host to be allowed in its own content security settings.

A viewer link says the map is unavailable

Ask an owner or admin to check that the map has an active publication and Enable external viewer link is selected. An enabled embed does not automatically enable the external viewer. Unpublishing or workspace suspension also makes public routes unavailable.

Copy a fresh link from Share. Internal studio links require workspace membership and cannot be used as public map links.

A label or reference image is missing

  • For a label, zoom in and check the displayed field, label size and position. Labels can hide to avoid collisions or illegibly small text.
  • For a reference image, select the correct floor and check its eye control and opacity in References.
  • Reference plans and guide lines are intentionally absent from the 3D preview and published map.
