Find your way around the studio
See the real editor, learn what each area does, and follow a small edit from selection to preview.
The studio at a glance
Open a venue from your workspace to enter the studio. The screenshots use Harbour Centre, a fictional practice venue created in the real app. Nothing in these examples is a live customer map.
- Map, Places and Preview
Draw the layout, maintain destination information, or try the visitor experience. All three modes use the same draft.
- Floors and panel controls
Choose the active floor, manage floors, or hide either side panel to give the canvas more space.
- Drawing palette
Choose a tool here. Extra options appear beside the tool icons when they are relevant.
- Objects
Search for and select a space, wall, path, marker or decoration. References and guide lines have their own sections.
- Properties
Geometry edits the selected object. Place details edits its linked visitor information.
- Snapping and view controls
Snapping is at the bottom left. Fit, zoom and keyboard help are at the bottom right.
Read the drawing palette

Try a small edit
- Choose Select, then click Harbour Books on the canvas or in Objects.
- In Geometry, change Width (m) to a new value and press Enter. The canvas updates immediately.
- Choose Undo to restore the width. Choose Place details to review the shop’s name and description.
- Open Preview to inspect the visitor card, then return to Map. Choose Save to keep any edits you want.
Make room for your drawing
The Objects and Details controls beside the floor selector retract the side panels independently. The floor selector stays available when both panels are hidden. Reopen Details when you need exact numeric settings.
On a narrow screen, use one panel at a time. Selecting an object in the list opens its properties. Selecting it directly on the canvas leaves room to drag it. Workspace navigation is available from the mobile menu.
